me dumb, but I don’t really know what this is. The serial number is V269041.
The barrel is 6” long and has an excellent bore. The trigger is a smooth and
wide and the hammer is the wide target style. The grips are not numbered and
have the Texas Commemorative medallions in place of the S&W medallions.
There is an assembly number on the crane but no markings at all on the frame
where the crane meets when the gun is closed. This came from a former S&W
factory rep and he says it was a Texas Ranger Commemorative in 22 that the
factory decided not to produce, please treat that information as a story until
you can get it confirmed. The gun is in very good condition. The box also very
good except the lousy imitation blue velvet, I have saran wrap on it to keep
that gooey stuff off the gun and accessories. Visa MasterCard and Discover accepted at no additional charge. For more
