This big handsome gun is serial number S207299
has an 8 3/8 long barrel with a problem in the bore. About ½ way down there is a half moon shaped what
looks like a tool mark. There is no way it is rust, but looks like a machined
out ½ moon mark. I have no way in measuring the depth but it does not
compromise the integrity of the barrel. The gun looks like is has been fired
very little, there is blue loss on the sides of the barrel muzzle end. The
hammer and trigger are wide target style. This was purchased from a former
S&W factory rep and might explain how it got out of the factory with what I
believe is a factory defect in the barrel. The grips are correct for the gun
and they are un-numbered. Visa MasterCard and Discover accepted at no
